Chatting About Color on Annie’s Quilting Stash Podcast

Color Mastery has really gone multimedia!  Yesterday I chatted with Annie Smith, of Annie’s Quilting Stash podcast about the book.  Annie has a background in teaching and technical writing, and we had a fabulous discussion about color and how to teach it in a quilting class.  Annie just completed a cross-country tour and has photos and podcasts about it on her blog!  This is one blog you definitely want to subscribe to so you don’t miss any of the great interviews she does.  I download Annie’s podcasts and listen to them while I work out in the mornings, so I get my quilting and exercise fix at the same time!  And if you comment on Annie’s blog you can enter in a contest to win an autographed copy of Color Mastery for your very own.

  2. Just finished listening to Annie’s podcast. Fun to hear about your work as an instructional designer – I work with instructional designers everyday editing all types of content. Would love to have you add my name added to the drawing for your new book. Thanks, Sheila

  3. Maria,
I heard your podcast with Annie and really enjoyed it. I am sooooo clueless about color. I will intentionally avoid decisions when making a new quilt. If I don’t have something to copy, I don’t do it. I would love to get a copy of your book so that I could feel comfortable chosing colors and make an original creation. Thanks for writing/creating this tool for all us fearfull people!
